Always looking for a unique Holiday gift or a new Holiday decoration for your house? Then this is it. This festive tree will make a great gift for a teacher or that special holiday hostess. Great for a family member in a nursing home, or use it yourself to brighten up a corner of your house.

Supplies: 

Cardstock: Snow Festival designer paper (126908), Champagne Glimmer Paper (127885), Brushed Gold Cardstock (102935) Always Artichoke Cardstock (105119) 

Tools: Simply Scored Scoring Tool (122334), Glue Gun 

Embellishments: Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details (127845)

Adhesives: Multi purpose Glue (110735), Dimensionals (104430), Glue Gun

Punches: Star Punch, ½" Circle punch (119869), 1" Circle Punch (119868), 1 3/8" Circle Punch (119850)

Instructions

Cutting 

1. Punch 9 always artichoke circles using the 1 3/8" circle punch.

2. Punch 3 always artichoke circles using the 1" circle punch.

3. Layout Snow Festival Designer Paper and evaluate how you want to layer the designs. You will need 12-13 layers.

4. 1st Layer - Starting from the bottom - cut 2 pieces of designer paper to 3" x 12"

5. 2nd Layer - Next layer - cut 2 pieces of designer paper to 2 ¾" x 12"

6. 3rd Layer - Cut another 2 pieces of designer paper to 2 ¾" x 12" from a different design

7. 4th Layer - Cut 2 pieces of designer paper to 2 ½" x 12"

8. 5th Layer - Cut 2 pieces of designer paper to 2 ¼" x 12"

9. 6th Layer - Cut 2 pieces of designer paper to 2 x 12"

10. 7th Layer - Cut 2 pieces of designer paper to 1 ¾" x 12"

11. 8th Layer - Cut 2 pieces of designer paper to 1 ½" x 12"

12. 9th Layer - Cut 2 pieces of designer paper to 1 ¼" x 12"

13. 10th Layer - Cut 2 pieces of designer paper to 1" x 12"

14. 11th Layer - Cut 2 pieces of designer paper to ¾" x 12"

15. 12" Layer - Cut 2 pieces of designer paper to ½" x 12"

16. Score each piece of designer paper at every ¾" using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool

Assembly - make lollies

17. Accordion fold the 2 3" x 12" pieces of designer paper

18. Attach two ends together with a few dabs of multi-purpose glue to form a large ring. 

19. Heat up hot glue gun and place a little glue on one of the 1 3/8" circles.

20. Fold designer paper into accordion and pinch together in center to form a round "Lollie"

21. Place on top of circle with glue and hold for a few seconds.

22. I place one of my punches on top of the lollie to hold it in place while the glue dries. 

23. Repeat for all the layers using the smaller circles for the narrower strips. 

Assemble Tree

24. Lay largest lollie on work surface. Add hot glue to bottom of 2nd layer and line up in middle of larger layer. Hold in place for a minute for glue to set.

25. Repeat working to smallest to build tree.

26. Punch 2 stars from the Champagne Glimmer Paper and 3 stars from the Brushed Gold Cardstock.

27. Cut a dimensional in half and layer stars together with glimmer stars on outside.

28. Punch a ½" circle from the brushed gold cardstock. Using a few drops of hot glue, attach star to ½" circle. Hold for a minute until gold dries slightly.

29. Attach to top of tree with hot glue. Hold in place for a minute until dries.

30. Decorate edge of circle under the star with the silver sparkle dazzling details.

31. Decorate edges of tree layers with Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details and let dry.
